
Two Florida Highway Patrol troopers surrender themselves to Osceola County Jail
Two Florida Highway Patrol Troopers have turned themselves into the Osceola County Jail, according to Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.Captain Lenita King was booked on four charges: defrauding to obtain property, public servant falsifying documents, falsifying public or court records, and grand theft greater $750 and less than $5,000.King is facing a $30,000 bond for those charges.Trooper Maurice Vilsaint also turned himself in to the Osceola County Jail, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was not booked as of 7:30 p.m. but will update this story when we learn more of his charges.We have reached out to Florida Highway Patrol multiple times on the arrests and whether the troopers are still employed with the agency.
